Medium pressure mooring winches manufactured by Plimsoll Fleetwinch cover a wide range from 3 tonnes to 25 tonnes pull on the first layer at nominal design speeds from 10 to 18 metres per minute.
A choice of standard or large barrel capacities can be offered for each model listed and other sizes can be provided to suit special requirements.
The winches are designed to operate in a power only mode but a free fall characteristic can be incorporated if required. Winches can also be fitted with additional warp ends and declutchable barrels.
All standard winches can be fitted with automatic wire spooling gear if required. Ancillary equipment with self tensioning valves and other hydraulic components can be provided.
A full range of hydraulic Power Packs and components can be provided if required.
